Placing and Tracking An Order

Pookies/Laissez-Wear purchases are fullfilled through Amazon.com. To view our products and place an order, browse our site and add your items to the cart. At checkout time you will see the familiar Amazon checkout. Simply use your existing Amazon checkout information, or sign-up and proceed with placing your order.  Your merchandise will arrive in an Amazon.com package. To track an order, follow the link provided in the order confirmation email that you will receive from Amazon.
 
What is your Return Policy? Your satisfaction is most important to us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Pookies/Laissez-Wear, simply return it and the original purchase price (not including shipping charges) will be refunded in full. Please email returns@dfdesignsllc.com to request a return authorization number. Please provide your order number and the reason for your return in this email. We can only accept returned packages that have a return authorization number written clearly on the outside of the package - packages without a return authorization number can not be accepted. Items must be returned to the return address provided with your RA number. DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEM TO THE AMAZON WAREHOUSE PLEASE, AS IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
 
What is the Procedure for Returns:
   
  • You will receive the Return Authorization (RA) number via email within 24 hours. Please note that an RA is required for all returns.
  • Package the item(s) to be returned and print the RA number clearly and prominently on the outside of the package. There is no need to use the original packaging but please note that we cannot, under any circumstances, process a return without the RA number.
  • Included in the email with your RA number will be the address to return your item to. Please use that address and only that address for returns. Please do not return your package to the Amazon warehouse or any address other than the one provided in the email with your RA number. The package will be returned to you at your expense.
  • When we receive the package, your credit card will be credited for the amount of the purchase. Please note that we do not refund any shipping and handling charges.
 
Shipping

When will my order ship?
Pookies/Laisse-Wear uses Amazon to warehouse our products and ship our customer orders. Shipping times and methods are subject to our arrangement with Amazon. Please follow the link in the confirmation email sent to you by Amazon to find out when your order is shipping. Generally, most items ship (leave the warehouse) within 2 business days, unless otherwise noted. Orders placed on a Friday may not ship until the following Monday or the next normal business day. Note: Choosing a faster shipping method (details below) only reduces the time an order takes to arrive at the shipping address AFTER the order leaves the warehouse. It DOES NOT reduce the time to process and package your order to ship. Amazon already does that as fast as it possibly can. In the event that an item you order is not currently in stock, we will notify you via email and you will have the opportunity to cancel your order. If you do not cancel the order, we will order your items and fulfill your order as soon as we are able.
 
Why did my order arrive in a package from Amazon.com?
Pookies/Laissez-Wear uses Amazon as our warehouse and fulfillment center. Amazon staff carefully pack and ship your Pookies/Laissez-Wear order in an Amazon package in the usual high-quality Amazon manner. NOTE: In the unlikely event there is a question about your order, Pookies/Laissez-Wear is your point of contact. Please send an email to support@dfdesignsllc.com and review our return and cancellation policies. Please do not contact Amazon as they are only our fulfillment center and cannot provide customer service to you.
 
Do you ship outside of the United States? At this time we are only shipping within the U.S. However, if you live in the UK or EU, you can purchase our products on www.Amazon.co.uk which will take orders and deliver to: the UK, as well as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, the Netherlands and Portugal.
 
Will I be charged sales tax? Applicable sales tax will be charged if your order is being shipped anywhere in the state of New York.
 
Privacy and Conditions of Use What steps do you take to protect my privacy? At Pookies/Laissez-Wear we want to protect your information and hence, your privacy, as if it were our own. Please click on the PrivacyPolicy link for the details of our privacy policy.

Authenticity
Authentic Pookies carry the Pookies "P" Flag sewn just below the right pocket. Authentic Laissez-Wear products have, in addition to their unique style, design, and quality craftsmanship, the exclusive right to carry the official Laissez-Wear label. All of us working at Pookies/Laissez-Wear appreciate your interest in buying only authentic Pookies and Laissez-Wear products. If you learn that potential knock-off products are being sold, please notify Customer Service at support@DFDesignsLLC.com - we will happily respond in kind with a token of our appreciation.
 
How should I care for my Pookies? The care label on your Pookies describes the "ultimate" in fabric care but your Pookies can actually take a lot of abuse. The fabric has been pre-washed to control shrinkage so if you wash them in warm or cold water on the permanent press cycle and dry them on the permanent press cycle, your Pookies should stay perky for a long time. Despite their pre-washing, washing and drying any 100% cotton fabric at high temperatures may cause shrinkage so cool or warm temperatures are the best way to go.
